Our work speaks for itselfAs Head of Communications at Happy Volcano, Jarvs led the marketing efforts for Modulus: Factory Automation, from the demo drop, to Next Fest, to a creator campaign that moved the needle. Jarvs guided the game from development through post-launch, shaping and executing its go-to-market strategy at every stage.
Dev Logs
Jarvs created dev logs that truly spoke to the community, producing both written and video formats to keep accessibility central to Modulus' communication strategy.
Press & Creator Outreach
Jarvs started an organic creator program for Happy Volcano, securing over 200 memberships, and ran a further organic push contacting more than 500 additional creators through authentic, meaningful outreach.
Partnering with the Angelfire team, Jarvs led the creation of beautifully crafted creator kits, and worked with publishing partner Kwalee to arrange a substantial paid creator push that resulted in hundreds of thousands of views.
Alongside creator outreach, Jarvs collaborated with Pirate PR to secure press coverage for Modulus, spanning both digital and print media.
Steam Store Page Perfection
Jarvs worked hard to optimise the Modulus store page, ensuring it was both an accurate representation of the game and a high-performing marketing tool. With a deep understanding of Steam's algorithm, she refined the page over time, helping it surface to more players and contributing to over 250k wishlists.
Content Creation
Jarvs consistently created content for Modulus, producing videos, assets, and copy that spoke to players and built hype for the game in the run-up to launch, as well as post-launch content that drove player engagement and built trust in the brand.
The factory automation genre doesn't traditionally perform well on TikTok, but several of Jarvs' videos went viral and drove store page traffic.
Jarvs' Modulus Academy series, created with Game Director David Prinsmel, went on to be picked up by press and gained popularity among genre fans.
The output of content on Modulus has often been commented on by peers as outstanding in the field.
